Free Audio Book “The Seven Habits of People that Build Wealth Successfully” Free Audio Book

Happy Friday!   I have attached a link to a free download for Steven Covey’s classic bestseller “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” and I can assure you, that if you have not read it or listened to the audio already, it is well worth your time. It has sold over 15 million copies worldwide from its original publication in 1989. You will be able to either download it into your I-Pod, I- Phone, computer or burn to a CD for free.  (Only in the U.S. can this be downloaded for free.)

I did want to take a moment to go through the seven habits and apply them to your own personal finances and make certain that you are applying them here in addition to other areas of your life.

1.        Be proactive.  Sean and I are always encouraging people to get out in front of their personal finances and the markets in general. This is not nearly as hard as you may think, with right kind of instruction.

2.       Begin with the end in mind. I cannot tell you how many times when I have helped people set a goal, how it literally changed them immediately! A goal that stretches and is yet achievable is a must for everyone!

3.       Put first things first. It is doubtful that you will have a strong retirement plan, if you are spending more money than you have coming in every month. There are a lot people that need to go back to the basics of budgeting and calculating their net worth.

4.       Think Win/Win. Think of your children, your parents, charities, and your country. Taking care of your finances is a win/win for all. You may be able to help others with your money and time, when you’re financially secure.

5.       Seek first to understand and then to be understood. Realize that a lot people are going through difficult times with their finances right now. So, signing up for courses and blogs where you can interact and learn is “a must”.

6.       Synergize.  Important word to know… Balancing your stock and bond portfolio is just another thing that the effective wealth builders do.

7.       Sharpen the saw. Consistently seek more information in all areas of your life. This is what everyone should be doing and that is exactly what we are here for  at www.mywealth.com

Well I hope you enjoyed my summary of the habits and how they apply to your own personal finances.  These are just a few the things that we cover in our personal finance and investing courses, so please make certain to check them out. Also, please e-mail me with any personal finance questions that you have.

Here is the link to the audio book that I promised.

Enjoy the audio book and enjoy your weekend!!

Sincerely,
